Doç. Dr. Nilay Karaca is a physician who, alongside her specialty in obstetrics and gynaecology, completed subspecialty training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility; she works at her practice in Nişantaşı, İstanbul.
Doç. Dr. Nilay Karaca completed her medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, and her specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Bakırköy Maternity and Children's Diseases Training Hospital.
She completed her training in assisted reproductive techniques (IVF) at the Assisted Reproduction Training Centre of Zeynep Kamil Training and Research Hospital, and received additional training in perinatology. In 2008 she worked as a research fellow at the Center for Reproductive Medicine of Brigham and Women's Hospital, part of Harvard Medical School.
Her professional interests centre on reproductive endocrinology and infertility, office hysteroscopy, endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome. Her work published in international peer-reviewed journals is largely on ovarian reserve, IVF outcomes, polycystic ovary syndrome and pregnancy complications.
